  1. It's been a while so I forgot all I learned last time. How about $80 Max.
  2. Hey thereuare, can you please give me a bidding strategy for San Antonio Riverwalk 4* June 14th-18th? I would love something on the river, but i don't think that's a guarentee. I've seen some people end up in the $70's so that would be nice if we can make it happen. Thanks in advance. Jeremy
  3. I know your probably laughing at me for my destination, but I thought I would ask for your bidding expertise anyway. They only show list two 2* hotels in Sweetwater. Can you get me started on my bidding. thanks again for your help. Edit: After looking at the two hotels I would really hate to get the Days Inn so I'm not sure I should Priceline this one. From the couple of reviews I have found it seems more like a 1* Let me know what you think. Jeremy
  4. I just wanted to give an update and let you all know that I was upgraded to a Pontiac G6 from a Hyundai Accent. I didn't even have to ask. Thanks again Thereuare.
  5. Hello thereuare, I just Pricelined this car and got a decent rate. I started out trying to get a midsize for 10 and 11 dollars without luck. I won't need the care much so I settled for an economy and started my bid at $8 and got it. Maybe I could have got it for less, but who knows. I know I'm happy with the price. I wonder if i can still use my Hertz Gold status for pick up. Your Offer Price: $8.00 (per day) Total Rental Days: 3 days(2 days and 16 hours) Subtotal: $24.00 Taxes and Fees: $32.21 Total Charges: $56.21 Lowest Published Price: $80.04 Total Savings:* $23.83 (You saved 30%) Thanks for your site, Jeremy
  6. It is the Crown Plaza on Ocean Drive. haha, I've been looking at the sawgrass hotel and thinking, well i guess i saved 20 or 30 bucks. In reality, i think i did pretty well.
  7. Sure, it's the Crown Plaza at Sawgrass Mills. I'm not sure how nice it is, but it looks pretty nice.
  8. Okay so I went through basically the whole list. I finally won with a $90 bid. They did upgrade me to a 4* so that was nice. Can I call the hotel now and ask for specialty requests like a King bed instead of the alternative? Select 3.5* Beach... Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone1... 9. Your probably right. I placed my first bid for $55 Beach 3.5*......It was declined so I added the Downtown Zone and bid $60, got declined so I added the Second Zone Airport and bid $65. That was declined so I closed my browser and tried to start again, but when i tried to bid with Downtown, $55, 3.5* it was i couldn't with the message I pasted earlier. Did I misunderstand the directions? Thanks, Jeremy
  10. I went through the first three bids, and was starting the Downtown one, and it said: "We were not able to process this request since our records indicate you have already made a request for this same trip. Your credit card has not been charged for Request Number" Do I have to wait? Thanks
  11. Well i would love to stay at a 4*, but if it's very unlikely i say we shoot for the 3.5*.
  12. I would say your last statement is the direction I want to go. The nicest hotel I can get in any of those zones up to my limit. $100 out the door.
  13. It looks like 4* is probably out of range since i would like to spend 100.00 out the door. How about we start with the 3.5*. I don't really guess zone is a huge factor. I just want to be in the nicest hotel I can be in for my price range and still be close to the Airport. Zone names: (In order of preference) Fort Lauderdale Beach Area Downtown Fort Lauderdale Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) Fort Lauderdale - Airport North Thanks again for the help.
  14. I would consider a 3* and a 3.5* also. How much do you think it would take to get a 3*, 3.5*, or 4* on average? Should I start bidding ASAP? Thanks for your help. I would like to stay in these "sections" in order from best to worst:5,2,4,3. I hope that makes sense, but I'm just choosing those due to the proximity of the airport. I think the hotel we are already booked at is in 5, Pier 66. Thank you, Jeremy
  15. I would like to stay as close to the Airport or Pier 66 as possible.
