This hotel hasn't been reported to the board, however I noticed that HOTWIRE mentions a tripadvisor traveler review rating of 4/5 based on 100+ reviews for this hotel.

Referencing tripadvisor directly I see both the Hilton La Jolla and Sheraton La Jolla matching this rating. However, the Sheraton is rated a 3*-4* on several other sites whereas the Hilton is typically rated a 4* or more.

My guess would be the Hilton La Jolla.

I would also lean towards the Hilton...

The tripadvisor info states last reviewed Oct 2008 (this does not change dynamically, it's just a 'snapshot' taken at one point in time)... if i recall, the last 'snapshot' was taken the first few days of October. While the Hilton's first review in October was on 10/3, the Sheratons' was on 10/12... and i think this would have been after the last snapshot was taken (and therefore fi it was teh Sheraton, it would show a 'last reviewed' prior to October)... hopefully you were able to follow my line of tought.
