I don't think your pricepoint will be an issue, but I'm not sure there are any 4* hotels offered thru HOTWIRE (nor PRICELINE) in the JFK zone... it's not an area with the greatest range of hotels as it's mostly used for one nite stays 'passing thru' or for one nite pre/post flight.

these are a match for the Holiday Inn JFK Airport, however, some of the Tripadvisor reviews are pretty bad. I stayed here about 3 years ago and it was fine, but Airport hotels have tons of daily room turnover and hence get beat up. The current highest rating on PRICELINE in the JFK zone is 3*. Good Luck!
