smartcookie Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Was bidding on Downtown Memphis area for one night of November 13, 2008.Tried $75 for 4 star, then $78 for 3.5 star with no luck. Then added 3-star and got the Doubletree for $80. Price on various sites varies from $114 to $165 per night for this night at this hotel. Reviews are mixed. It seems to be a converted Radisson Hotel. Reviews are mostly great 4.5/5 on Expedia, Orbitz, etc, but very iffy on TripAdvisor.com. We're only there for 1 night and planning to go out on Beale Street, so I think it'll suit our needs fine. Calling right now to see if we can get a room with 2 beds - I've had luck at other hotels with that.Used the PRICELINE link from this site. Thanks. I always the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links from this board for my purchase!
