marie_scotland Posted July 27, 2004 Author Report Posted July 27, 2004 just tried bidding again for both the US and HK Priceline sites.Bids were for 5 star in Southbank area*********************US - 95 & 101 US$ - both rejectedSuggested 'retail price' was US$ 171*********************HK - 600 up to 801 HK$ in batches of 50all rejected.suggested retail price was 1200*********************any bidding strategies would be really appreciated!Marie *********************
WillTravel Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 What's the cheapest rate you can get for a 5* hotel without Priceline? It may be there is no inventory, though. Take a look at http://www.hrs.de - they may have some cheaper rates for the Ramada Melbourne and the Marriott Melbourne, both of which they rate as 5*.
