RedLightning Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Me and a number of other people are going to be attending an event at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center that weekend and will be driving into town. Since we will be driving we don't mind staying a bit out of town - last year the event was at Hynes Convention Center and we stayed at an inexpensive motel around 20-30 minutes away. We're looking to do something similar this year and we really don't need anything fancy - just cheap and relatively accessible to the BCEC by car. I looked through the Priceline and Hotwire hotel lists but the area names aren't familiar to me and I'm hoping somebody who's a bit more familiar with the area around Boston can help us identify areas which would have cheaper accommodations but still not too far out of the city.Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Colfax Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Last week I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Waltham for $45 and I see that others have won that hotel at the same price. It's just a block off the 95 freeway with free parking. Is that the type of place you had in mind?
RedLightning Posted May 15, 2009 Author Report Posted May 15, 2009 It's been a while, but I figured I should update this thread. Tried a few bids, but wasn't getting anywhere and since it was a conference weekend I wasn't expecting much from Priceline - ended up staying at a cheap Red Roof Inn in Framingham off Expedia instead.
