relishpuke Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 This is my first post, and I wish I'd found this forum before bidding, as I'm left wondering if I could have gotten it for cheaper, but scored a manhattan (soho-financial district) 3.5* Marriott for $200/night - $235 all in...This is over the halloween weekend for a bachelor party....2 double beds that we're going to try and get 4 guys into (that'll be comfy)....Got 2 rooms at this price on first go, so seems like their is availability and possibly for a better price. Hope it helps....
dahammer Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!you may not want to all show up at the same time during the check in process, and you may want to call to request your bedding preference when you confirm your reservation; having a Marriott Rewards number can also help to get your request accomodated.
thereuare Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing it with the board.!This is actually a very busy time in NYC... Halloween parade in the Village and the NYC Marathon, which brings in visitors/runners from all over the world, is 11/2. All in all i think this is an excellent deal, and a hotel direct rate of $400+ for these dates confirms it.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
