coffeelaker Posted October 6, 2008 Report Posted October 6, 2008 used the PRICELINE link. Bid $50 for 4* and got offered to rebid $14, but chose to change othersadded 3.5* and rebid $52 and got acceptedwith taxes & fees - $66.17. On their website the normal rate is $99 + taxes. Is it just me or is it weird for a 3.5* hotel to not even offer a continental breakfast??Millennium Hotel Minneapolis Downtown Minneapolis1313 Nicollett Mall Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403 612-332-6000
thereuare Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Congratulations on your win!I don't think Complimentary Breakfast is something that you would see in most 3.5* rated hotels... this is an amenity usually offered at lesser rated hotels, usually in PRICELINE's 'new' 2.5*-3* range (although most Courtyard properties are now rated 3 stars and these don't offer a free breakfast... so it's really a "brand specific" amenity).Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. powerplantop Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Is it just me or is it weird for a 3.5* hotel to not even offer a continental breakfast??The higher the class of hotel the more likely you will have to pay for: Breakfast, parking and internet. Which is why when staying for work I don't want an upgrade. I wish PRICELINE would let me turn that off.
