Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Diego (Coronado) Loews

Cheapest on the Hotel's web site was $229. I tried through priceline, and walked from $140 up to $156, and was still rejected. Hotwire was cheaper at $160/nt, compared to Pricelines $156 (and that wasn't even accepted) due to more Priceline fees.

Hotwire usually gets a bad rap as their fees are often higher, nice to see an instance where they're not. Too early to call this a trend, but at least it's good to see and a step in the right direction. Hopefully Hotwire is getting, and will get, more competitive.
