biddingIsFun Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Hey folks,I got this deal for our romantic getaway to the Rockie Mountains in two weeks:Courtyard by Marriott Ft. Collins (Ft. Collins zone)Dates: 10/3 - 10/6 (3 nights)Price: $55 per night, $189 totalI started bidding for a 3* with $50, but was rejected immediately. Then I downscaled to 2.5* and increased to $55. This is a great deal, considering the rack rate of $99 per night. However, we want Ft. Collins to be our starting point for day trips into the Rockies, and were not willing to pay $129+ per night in Estes Park. This property got pretty good reviews on TripAdvisor, and with the money we save every day, we can go out for a nice dinner. Every night :) See y'all,DennisPS: Used BetterBidding PRICELINE link to access PL
