Priceline Hotel: I know it is last minute but....

I have been trying every possible combination to get a 4* or 3* hotel in Zones 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 for Wednesday, Sept. 17 and i can't seem to get anywhere. I have bid up to $400 and have had no luck. Are there any rooms left???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

please don't use the terms "Zone 2,4,5...." please post the names of the zones. Also, what is your maximum bid for this stay? If you are at your maximum, would you consider staying in New Jersey and commuting into the city?

I'm not sure which zones you're bidding, but if MTE is acceptable, HOTWIRE has a 3.5* property in that zone with Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Internet, Business, Tennis icons for $364/nite... less than you've already bid. Best guess is that this would be the Millenium UN Plaza.

Another option is Quickbook has the Desmond Tutu Center for $399/nite (nice reviews) and this is refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours prior to the day of arrival (I read this be mean at least 2 calendar days before your arrival date to play it safe) so you may at least want to use this as a back-up for the next few days.
