ilikedeals Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 This location looks good for a family reunion before a wedding the following day. I've heard there's many restaurants in the area, but not great reviews for being a 4* hotel. Anyone have personal experience?
thereuare Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 Last time i was in Chicago we were able to inexpensively get from ORD to 'the city' via the train (bought a 3 day pass so we were purchasing it anyway), so don't be afraid to venture away from the airport. Chicago definately has some good restaurants to offer. Besides 'nicer' restaurants (we ate at Rick Bayless' Mexican place and it was good... don't know if it's still an 'in' place), there is also the original Uno and Due which might be good for a large group. Thanks for posting your results and have fun with your family at the wedding.
