Le Bourget Aero Suites -- 8/21 and 8/22 and 9/5-7 for $50 + 10.50 tax = $65 per night.

I'm happy with this (thus the return). Clean, no fuss hotel, easy parking, frig and microwave, laundry facilities, bar open till 10 PM. Staff is a little inexperienced but I can't complain at this price. Most rooms are suites with a separate sitting area. Fairly quiet with good soundproofing. Reliable internet connection. About 10 mn west of the airport -- off France ave and 494.

Well -- followup to the previous. I'm not totally happy. The last night the internet connection became less reliable. The hotel also blocked access to my 800 calling card number and would not unblock it in spite of my protests. Finally -- they billed me for the stay even though it was all prepaid through Priceline. They are working that out with Priceline now -- and I'm sure it will be resolved - but it has resulted in an hour or so of my time (so far) to work out. Priceline has a very clunky resolution mechanism.

I just got my credit card statement and Le Bourget charged my incidentals credit card for my room too, $50.12. I stayed at Le Bourget in August a couple weeks before you. I actually have two double charges for Priceline stays on this month's bill, from two different hotels.

When these things happen I call the hotel's accounting department directly, not Priceline. The hotel submitted the erroneous charge and the hotel needs to reverse it. When you call Priceline they can't reverse the charge themselves; they have to call the hotel too. This way eliminates the middleman. There's nothing wrong with calling Priceline and letting them handle it but I like to get the name of the person at the hotel who says they'll be reversing the charge, and I can't do that when I turn it over to Priceline. This situation comes up a few times a year and I've always been able to resolve it with one quick call to the hotel....never an hour.

Hope you've got your refund by now.

Le Bourget reversed the extra charge. It took one short call to the hotel's accounting office, less than 5 minutes.

Checking my old acceptance page I see that Priceline now rates Le Bourget 3.5*. The Bloomington Sheraton is 3.5* too.
