Also, did you bid them separately first, together from the start, or add a zone with each subsequent bid?Thanks! thereuare Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 For anyone else following along, the following informatino in this link: PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED explains the correct way to check for re-bid zones:The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.There is additional information (and a graphic near the bottom of the thread which helps explain the process) in the above link, so if anyone is reading this and doesn't quite understand how re-bidding works please read the above thread and feel free to ask questions. Thanks.Address: 4453 Bonney Rd Norfolk Region: Virginia Beach The above hotel is listed as 3 stars on their website. However, betterbidding/priceline said it is listed as 2 stars.
dolphin89 Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 One more comment: It seems that Clarion is 10 miles west from the Virginia beach and the Sheraton, which is located at Norfolk downtown, is about 20 miles west from the beach. However, the Sheraton is located on the waterfront.Experience from both hotels are welcomed. Thanks.
