foomee
I'm looking to bid a 4* rated hotel in SF somewhere downtown or near fisherman's warf. What amount would you recommend I start at and what possible hotels could I end up with? Looking to spend between $80-140. Link to comment
Colfax
Welcome to BetterBidding, foomee. To see which hotels you might win look at the Priceline Hotel List thumbtacked near the top of this page. Another bidder has already reported winning your date at the Hilton SF in USW for $100, after $90 was rejected. When bidding for a 4* in San Francisco you have four free rebid zones, which are zones that only have hotels less than 4*. If you don't understand how to determine your four free rebid zones please ask before you bid.I suggest you select both USE and USW and bid $80 for a 4*.Add Fisherman's Wharf and bid $85.Then add your four free rebid zones, one at a time, raising your bid by $5 with each zone. That will bring you to $105 and I hope that will be high enough. If it's not wait 24 hours and repeat, raising all the bid amounts by $10.Please start your bids with this PRICELINE link. Good luck! foomee
Oh. You can close this. I never got a hotel. It was my 1 year anniversary weekend, but my dad ended up in the hospital so plans were changed :) Link to comment
