instead of playing the guessing game in HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, I chose to book directly when I saw an offer at hotwire travel ticket and booked a room at bahia resorts for $99/night at the mission bay area close to san diego zoo and seaworld. The hotel offers free parking and refrigerator,internet etc.. felt its better than $75 plus $15 parking unknown hotels offered through priceline for same amenities.
