How does priceline work in terms of Airlines

Can anyone help me understand how the name your own price for Airlines. I am very familiar with the process but don't know if I WANT TO TAKE THE risk of not knowing when my flight will get in. Is there anyway to know what airlines are using priceline?

this is a great reason to not bid for airfare, you could end up being put on a late evening flight and an early morning return flight.

I would use Airfare Checker to check the prices for your itiniary.
