Priceline Hotel: 3*-4* Hotel in NYC 08/28/08-08/30/08

Hello All,

I am new to this forum. I have read several post about NYC already, and would appreciate for some bidding advice.

I'll be visiting NYC 08/28/08 - 08/30/08

I am looking for 3* - 4* around the areas of Midtown East or West.

(Other suggestions are welcome, would like to be close to subway)

I looked up Quikbook.com and found Ameritania Hotel for $275

I guess my maximum would be $275

I would like it to be around $170 or under $200

I also have a question to what kind of bed would I get? Would it be random?

Is there a way to get guarantee bed type? We are looking for two twin.

there is limited board coverage for the next few days, but first off, you cannot guarantee bedding types when bidding through PRICELINE. This is one reason to book directly or consider HOTWIRE as you could search for 4 adults thereby assuring that you will be provided accomodations for 4 which at the minimum is one bed and a pull out sofa bed.
