Priceline Hotel: 3* Omaha (Central) Doubletree Guest Suites

My $50 bid for a 2.5* in Omaha Central zone was upgraded to the 3* Doubletree Guest Suites. I bid this the day before my stay.

There's a 2.5* Residence Inn in the Central zone, not reported here yet, and that's what I was trying to win. I'm more than happy to get the Doubletree though. It's a former Embassy Suites and the rooms are two room suites, just like ResInn.

Doubletree's regular price was $139.95. Hotwire had a 3* in Omaha Central zone for $99.

Parking is free. Highspeed internet $9.95/day. Indoor pool open til midnight, with 10pm-midnight for adults only.

My suite had a kitchen area with sink, full sized refrigerator, microwave, and cabinets for dishes and utensils. The cabinets were empty though. Not a plate or a spoon in the room. I think the mini-kitchens are left over from Embassy Suites days and not part of the Doubletree model.
