billyblaze
My wife picked this up today. Saw the Westin on Hotwire for $114.00 a night. Saw previous accepted bid for $98.00 so bid $97.00. Bid accepted. Taxes & fees of $20.74 ( ouch) bring total to $117.74. Thanks BB for all info. Link to comment

billyblaze
My hotel bill included a $2.00 occupancy tax that I have to pay. I thought priceline covered all taxes? Does anyone know if the Hotels are allowed to do this? Link to comment
thereuare
Yes they are. From Priceline's website (HELP>>HOTELS>>TAX will pull it up):Depending on the city and property you stay in, you may also be charged a "Hotel Occupancy Tax", resort fees, parking charges, room service, etc. as these costs are not included in the price you pay priceline. These charges, if applicable, will be payable to the hotel directly at checkout. billyblaze
Thanks. Obviously, I paid it. However, I still think it is a little sneaky. Link to comment
