Priceline Hotel: Montreal -- Request for smoking rooms?

Hi all --

I will be travelling with a family member to Montreal in September, looking for a 3* or 4*. Thing is, the family member is a smoker and we'll need a room where smoking is permitted.

How have others dealt with this? I've used Priceline before and called hotels to make requests after booking -- but are there hotels on Priceline for Montreal that are completely non-smoking?

Thanks for your help, in advance

If you must have a smoking room then PRICELINE will likley not be the way to go as you could receive a hotel that is entirely non-smoking.

If you're willing to accept a little risk you can use HOTWIRE, hope to correctly identify the hotel offered before you make the purchase, and determine if the hotel has non-smoking rooms... then after your purchase make a request with the hotel and hope they can honor it.

Otherwise your best option is to book directly with the hotel (and please check our support page for hotel direct links if you go this route)

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how much of a "must have" a smoking room is and we'll try to help further.

It seems MOST of the 4* hotels in Montreal are non-smoking...the only one I know for sure that still has smoking rooms is the Sheraton; their 16th and 27th floors, as well as floor 32 in the Club Level are smoking.
