I searched again and again here in the forum. But never thought this one comes out from Hotwire.

LaGuardia Airport Hotel $89

The amenities include airport shuttle, wireless internet, restaurant and fitness center.

The review about this hotel is very bad. And I didnt realize this hotel is in the list of HOTWIRE. Besides, this hotel has never been ranked as three stars in other website. Even priceline and Expedia listed it as 2.5 stars.

I am very upset especially when I see the review saying the hotel is dirty, bedbug and fruit fly are the things you can expect to see in the room and even in the restaurant of the hotel.

How can HOTWIRE put this hotel in the list and rank as 3 star?

Too bad I can not ask my money back, or can I?

Sorry to hear you're disappointed in your purchase, but thank you for sharing and helping us add this property to the Hotwire Hotel List. Can you please add a reply to this thread wiht the dates of your stay so that we can add this information to the topic title and enable this thread to appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.

Given that you "searched again and again" on the board before makign this purchase, why not ask for help from the board before you decided to buy it?

You can try calling HOTWIRE and 'challenge' their rating on this property, but if you reference the tripadvisor reviews, they'll likely focus on the three positive reviews just as you focused on the two negative reviews... and TA lists this as a 3* property.

The hotel is on the list, it has been renamed. The amenities matched those of the Wyndham listed on BetterBidding Hotwire Hotel List, management probably dropped or lost their franchise. My last stay here was about two years ago and it was uneventful, I think the 3* rating was because the hotel has a restaurant and bar. You should confirm with the hotel that all of these amenities are available for your dates of travel and if any one is not, you have grounds for a complaint. Its your basic airport hotel that is busy, rooms are "ok" but in need of a refurbishing, airport hotel rooms get lots of wear and tear because the average stay is one night. Good luck, make the best of it.

PS, Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse boroughs and the restaurant scene offers many choices, you are close to several good Asian restaurants which include Korean Barbecue.

Thanks for the reply. The dates of our stay is 6/18-20. Two nights stay. We have decided to give a feedback on the webs after our stay. I will leave the review here as well.
