I have done numerous PL/HK bids using the Bonus Money and find that this Bonus money covers most of the PL fees and taxes. Anytime one converst funds, one looses a little! Still waiting for PL/HK to refund the bonus money on all my bids. I also noticed that PL/HK was getting my requested rooms for a few bucks lower than PL/US. Have you noticed that? :)

Also, I bid a bit above the going rate for this hotel, cause I really wanted to get the night and use the free money before it expires.
zbenye Posted March 30, 2003 Author Report Posted March 30, 2003 The charge on my visa showed up this morning as $43.00. Curious how they came up with a round number. Anyway, in this case too I find visa's exchange rate quite favorable, much more so than when using my amex.

zbenye Posted May 16, 2003 Author Report Posted May 16, 2003 Yes, the credit was posted to my Visa account today.MBNA is very good about showing transactions as soon as they occur, unlike other banks that take a night or two to process.
