sheri18 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 we are going to ther Bon Jovi concert on july 10th....would like to stay in town for the nite...near the TD Bank North area...which area should I look into....how can I narrow done my choices...thanks, have never used HOTWIRE or PRICELINE before....thought I would try it out....any suggestions
Liset Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 The closest would be the Quincy Market/Financial District zone. But the nice thing is that TD Bank North is at the North Station T-stop so you could easily take the green line to Copley or even transfer for Cambridge or Logan. Right now, it looks like the best deal showing up is a 4* Quincy Market for $135. Based on amenities, best guess would be the Omni Parker House or possibly Hilton Financial District. If you have more specific questions or can tell me your priorities, I'll try to help further. Otherwise, enjoy the concert!
thereuare Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! Is the above HOTWIRE property of interest to you and within your budget? (amenities are Restaurnt, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business... best guess is the Omni) If not, what is your maximum budget and minimum star rating? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and/or how it goes or if we can be of further help. sheri18 Posted June 28, 2008 Author Report Posted June 28, 2008 was looking at the 4.5 star for 179.00 quincy market area...any thoughts on which hotel?has anyone every gotten the Liberty? which area is that?
Liset Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 Based on the amenities, my best guess would be that this is the Langham. I initially thought possibly the Intercontinental, but unless it's recently changed the Intercontinental is not a non-smoking hotel, while the Langham is.Someone reported a win at the Liberty in 01/08, but otherwise I don't know anything more or whether it shows up frequently on HOTWIRE. Personally, I've never seen it pop up, but that's based only on my limited number of travel dates.
sheri18 Posted June 29, 2008 Author Report Posted June 29, 2008 if i opted for the copley area, which hotels can i expect to may get, for the july 10th date....maybe i should rethink my area, we can take a cab to the Garden....going in earlier in the day and to dinner first before the concert...thanks again for all your help............
sheri18 Posted June 29, 2008 Author Report Posted June 29, 2008 checking all 4 and above for july 10th for 1 nite.........what hotels could they possibley be.....i think any and all areas except airport and cambridge are doable..........waterfront might be interesting.....but copey may off more........
