dirtymartinii Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Any bidding strategy for Vancouver? 8/1-8/5 Prefer to stay downtown area. Thanks,
tilepusher Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 There are king rooms available at the Delta Vancouver Suites for $119Cdn/night for your dates; book through the Delta Hotels website and use the promotional code PYAH. You're probably not going to do much better on Priceline, and the rooms appear to be fully cancellable if you do find a better deal.If you'd like to try Priceline anyway (using the PRICELINE links here, of course), I'd stick to 4* bidding if you want to stay downtown; a bid for Vancouver at a lower star level has a high probability of getting the Plaza 500, which is not downtown. I'd start at $90 and increase in $5 increments using your rebid zones (which I know you'll check :) ) to $105. Beyond that, I don't think the savings are worth losing the ability to cancel your reservation.
thereuare Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Do you want to try PRICELINE or go for the Delta offer? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
