cober6711 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 A bid of $141 on Priceline got me this hotel...what a steal considering the room I got was normally $500.No mention of Priceline at check-in, but was simply told my reservation was pre-paid. Asked for a room on a higher floor and was told all they had was the 4th floor; was given room 452, a fairly large room facing a construction site, which was LOUD in the morning. I'm guessing this was the 'Priceline Room'The room was of a good size and was cleanI didn't pay for internet...I managed to steal it from the Marriott across the street (make up and enter a realistic room number and last name and you might get in to the Marriott's internet, I did!)All in all, a great value!
thereuare Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Dates of your stay please?I bet Mr. Smith at the Marriott wasn't happy at check-out when he had to explain that he didn't use the internet service and can't understand why he was charged. :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
cober6711 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Posted July 15, 2008 06/22/08-06/23/08Actually, the name I used to get in to the internet was 'P***y' (censored for the sake of being appropriate!), so I doubt that Mr. Smith had problems getting the charge removed!
