Patstew Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 I'm looking for three rooms, six people, September 14th for one night. Here's what I'm getting:*2.5 Marina/Cow Hollow (I don't even see this area on the hotel list, did I miss it?)Smoke-free rooms, restaurant, tennis nearby (!)$85*3 USW Boutique, restaurant, high-speed internet, fitness center, business center$112Also, within the last two or three weeks I saw a post about a tool that calculated a guess as to what the hotel was. Now I can't find it again. Shoulda bookmarked it, dammit. Thanks for any help you can give. I love this forum! :)
thereuare Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! The properties above have not yet been identified. The Marina/Cow Hollow isn't a popular zone which is why there are no reported wins there yet... what is the purpose of this stay since you considered this property? (may have other suggestions)The identi-tool is probably the EasyClickTravel Reverse Look-Up Tool... but it's for Easy Click Travel (and not HOTWIRE)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Colfax Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 *2.5 Marina/Cow Hollow (I don't even see this area on the hotel list, did I miss it?)In the Hotel List it's called "Lombard Street-Marina District". Hotwire recently changed the zone's name to "Marina/Cow Hollow".

The Marina/Cow Hollow isn't a popular zone which is why there are no reported wins there yet... what is the purpose of this stay since you considered this prperty? (may have other suggestions)We're coming back from a family cruise, staying one night and flying home the next day. I *really* wanted to stay in the Fisherman's Wharf district, but nothing that meets our budget is coming up, so I was hoping for something reasonable not too far away. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.I certainly will. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
Patstew Posted June 6, 2008 Author Report Posted June 6, 2008 Okay, RIGHT after I posted the reply above, I went back to Hotwire to see if anything had changed, and it had. There was a *3 at Fisherman's Wharf for $139, amenities boutique and restaurant. I used your hotel list to determine it was the Tuscan Inn, about which I've read MANY good reviews, so I pounced on it! It was indeed the Tuscan Inn, and I'm very happy. :) And, of course, I booked through your HOTWIRE link. Thanks so much for your help with this.
