I am thrilled as this is the weekend of the Nascar race at Dover 45 minutes away. I have tried for this hotel before on race weekend and had to stay in Philadelphia. Used PRICELINE link above. I have stayed here several times and it a very nice hotel, web rate is $152. Link to comment

Although there are a ton of chain restaurants in the area, there's a little place called Charcoal Pit that makes a great burger. BTW, if you get jammed up for next year's race(s), there are several hotels in NJ in the Penns Grove-Bridgeport zone that are close to Delaware via the Delaware Memorial Bridge. The northern most point in this zone is 10 miles from the bridge. Link to comment
