blkjck1
We stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend. We were not disappointed with the hotel. The beds were quite comfortable, the room was clean and spacious. The location was quite close to the Georgetown neighbourhood, which was very nice to walk around. You're also very close to the Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro stop, making getting around the DC area very convenient, as well as the GWU Medical Center if you need medical treatment. The service of the hotel was very good. Our room was clean when we arrived, and the housekeepers earned our tips. We were accomodated with a noon time check in on a holiday weekend. We would advise picking perhaps another weekend other than Memorial Day to visit DC. We got caught up with the Rolling Thunder event, where Vietnam War veterans commemorate the holiday and honour veterans and the fallen by riding on all types of motorbikes, primarily Harley Davidsons. All weekend, we heard the gunning of motorcycle engines, and really contributed lots of noise pollution. Proud to be Canadian! Link to comment
