cober6711 Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 I was pleasantly surprised with this 2* hotel.Positives: The room I received was NOT as pictured on the website...it was a lot better! Received room 431; a corner room with a king bed and a view of the Days Inn next door. Bedding was at least 3* quality; mattress was likely a Simmons Beautyrest; I had no problems sleeping on it. Bed did not have ugly generic bedspread as shown in the pictures on the website; bed looked like something you'd find in a Marriott or other 3-4* hotel. Very clean. Good water pressure. Room had a fridge, which was very handy.Negatives: When I called to specify non-smoking, the lady was a Pricelinediscriminator! (although the lady at check-in was not). The lady on the phone claimed non-smoking rooms weren't available, yet they were on the website. Told her that and was put in a non-smoking room. Door took a little work to close. Couldn't connect to the internet.Overall, I was quite impressed with this place; it should be rated 2.5*
cober6711 Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Posted October 21, 2008 This hotel is no longer a Best Western. It is now a Quality Inn, and appears to not be a PRICELINE participant.
