When I included Wednesday in my bid $8 was rejected.My reservation was for a compact and Avis upgraded me to a Ford Escape. I meant a compact car, not a compact SUV. Avis said that was the smallest thing they had at the airport.The same mega upgrade happened when I booked Avis through PRICELINE in Seattle a month ago. I reserved a compact for $7/night and got upgraded to a fullsize. That time I drove to Avis Downtown and exchanged the big car for the compact I'd reserved.This time I'm going to keep the Escape, as I've never driven one before and I like it. Link to comment
