Can anyone please provide assistance on trying to identify a 3* hotel in Monterey, CA (Pacific Grove)? The amenities listed on hotwire include boutique hotel, complimentary breakfast and pool. I noticed, however, that if I added my two children then this hotel is no longer an option on HOTWIRE but if I kept my reservations to 2 adults, then this hotel shows up. My question is can I book this hotel via hotwire and then bring my children? Are there select rooms for hotwire guests? Obviously I don't want to book a room on Hotwire, bring my kids, and then the hotel tells me they can't stay or the room is not big enough for the 4 of us. Thanks again for your time. Link to comment

I'm assuming they give HOTWIRE guests the singel "queen size" only room. Does Hotwire still have Embassy Suites in the Marina area? Thanks. Link to comment

joseesq Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 Lighthouse has mixed reviews and if we had to get two rooms via HOTWIRE then we would be better off at the Embassy Suites for only $259 night (a $33 difference). Interesting that there is a 3* in the Marina area with breakfast on HOTWIRE for either double or quad occupancy for Sept. 12-13 for $236--could this be Embassy Suites (though no Suites icon)?
