I bid up to a $38 for a 2 1/2* but was rejected.

I only had one bid (no free rebids) for a 2* and was accepted at $26

$26 for one room X 5 nights = $130 + taxes fees $26.15 = 156.15

Don't really know your needs or requirements for this trip, but keep in mind in an extended stay situation such as this you could always bid again immediately for a 2.5* hotel for 4 of the 5 nites and then 'slum it' the other nite at a 2* property (after you tried again for the 'single' nite on it's own). Perhaps you thought of that, or price was more important, but i bring it up for others following along that changing your dates (as this would cause you to do) is treated as an entirely new bid.
