goodricb Posted April 29, 2008 Author Report Posted April 29, 2008 I rebid again, 75, 85 and 95 using the rebid zones. Then I refined my bids for the other rooms to save a few more dollars.(Whitehouse-Downtown) Renaissance Mayflower HotelRoom 1: 5/2-5/4 $95/nightRoom 2: 5/3-5/4 $93/nightRoom 3: 5/3-5/4 $92/nightRegular rates are $219/night for this weekend on their website.
londonmermaid Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 What was your strategy? I am trying to bid for the same dates and am having no luck.

I am trying to bid for the same dates and am having no luck.I bid the followingBid #1: Whitehouse-DowntownBid #2: Whitehouse-Downtown, SpringfieldBid #3: Whitehouse-Downtown, Crystal CityBid #4: Whitehouse-Downtown, Springfield, Crystal CityBid #5: Georgetown-Foggy BottomBid #6: Georgetown-Foggy Bottom, SpringfieldBid #7: Georgetown-Foggy Bottom, Crystal CityBid #8: Georgetown-Foggy Bottom, Springfield, Crystal CityI am not sure what to suggest as far as pricing. I started at 75 and went up by $10 each time. I usually have better luck as the days get closer. As a backup I had a AAA rate booked at the grand hyatt which is nice. Good luck
