Colfax Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 A one day rental, pick up Sunday, return Monday. $8 was rejected with a message I could bid again immediately if I increased my bid. $9 accepted.I already had a compact I'd won for $7/day from Avis, due back Sunday night. Then I had to extend my Seattle stay one day beyond the rental period. The extra day charge from Avis was $22 plus taxes (about $30 total). Instead I bid again on PRICELINE. Traded in my white Avis Cobalt for a white National Cobalt.
