Priceline Hotel: 2* Orlando (WDW) Fun Spots Hotel At Fountain Park

I have contacted with priceline customer service, but they always beg the question.

I chose disney world vicinity and bidded hotel,but it accepted by Fun Spot hotel in Kissimmee.Ft :o

I mainly put forward two questions.

Maps from priceline webpage is attached in the email sent to them.

In the email, I wrote "So could you please take a minute to have a glance at it and then point out the Fun Spots Hotel At Fountain Park inside of the Disney World Vicinity area map ?

It's inside of the Kissimmee area map! Why?

So how to explain it ?

One more question,as last time one of my friend who chose Kissimmee area to bid a hotel, his also accepted by Fun Spots Hotel.So there is a conflict,isn't?"

But they always beg the question and insist on the hotel inside of the area I choose. But it's clearly diffenent according to the area maps in their webpage! :)

Now how could I do next step?

Take screen prints and save them my friend...just in case they delete it. If you are sure enough and they would not honor your complaint, you can use the screen prints with your CC company!

In regards to your issue above, i know it can be confusing to a PRICELINE newbie, but i think priceline is correct in this instance.

The hotel's address is located within the city limits of Kissimmee, but the hotel is also located in the WDW zone. The names assocaited with the PRICELINE zones are general descriptions of the area, and the 'final say' is the boundaries on the map. The WDW zone includes some parts of the city of Kissimmee... the part of Kissimmee where this hotel is located.

But the Fun Spots hotel is outside of the disney vicinity according to the maps in priceline webpage.

In fact,its inside of the Kissimmee area map.

Here is what i'm seeing:

Google Map of Fun Spot at Fountain Park

Above and to the right of the green arrow indicating the location of this porperty, notcie the street coming down from the north (near the Hwy markers 522 and 535) named Vineland Road. The hotel is EAST of Vineland Rd.

Now look at pricelnie's Kissimmee Zone map. At the top left corner of the picture, outside of the Kissimmee zone, you'll see this same Vineland Rd. Since the hotel is East of Vineland Road, it would be outside of the Kissimmee zone.

As well, you can see "Jungleland" is labeled in Priceline's Kissimmee Zone and this map shows directions from Jungleland to Fun Spots which also shows this property outside of the Kissimmee zone.

which coincides with the google map i have linked to above.

As well, from another website:

Fun Spots Hotel at Fountain Park is on the left at corner of Poinciana Boulevard and US Hwy 192.

...which if you continue to zoom in on the google map link above you will see the arrow is just about at this intersection on the map

Lastly, i called the hotel, as per the phone number lipper provided in the post above, and indeed the hotel is located near the intersection of Poinciana Blvd and US Hyw 192, so i believe the map i have linked to above is the correct address, which is indeed located within the WDW zone on PRICELINE's map. The hotel did say that GPS units have trouble interpretting the US 192 and to use 'Irlo Bronson Hwy' as the address instead.

If any Disney experts disagree with (or can confirm) the above please comment, but hopefully the information above proves that this property is located within PRICELINE's WDW zone, and as a result lipper is now happy with his/her purchase since it is within the boundaries of the zone selected.

I'm not sure which it is, but you may NOT use multipe screennames on the board, or have somebody else post on your behalf, in order to prove your point.

The information i posted above, and the intersection near the hotel, is based upon calling the phone number in your post (ie- the hotel you received)

I have criticized merchants in the past, when i have found them to be wrong, but in regards to the above i don't think you' ae correct, and posting under multiple screennames (or having somebody else post for you) only weakens your case.

Could i be wrong? Of course (just ask my wife :) ), but based upon the information i have already gathered (including calling the hotel as per the phone number you provided) leads me to believe that this hotel is at the location i've pinpointed on the maps above and indeed is in the zone that you bid (the WDW zone).

I'd encourage any Disney experts (with at least a few posts on the board already) to chime in and confirm/negate the location of this property.
