WillTravel
See my REVIEW on this site. Breakfast was included last year and it was great. No other fees to pay either. Link to comment
springcleaning
Thanks WillTravel, you were right, the hotel was great, breakfast included, staff friendly and helpful and there were no additional expenses whatsoever. It appears the minimum bid to win was aproimately in the high $60's although i dont have the exact number, the current exhange rate was around 6.2dkk/1usd. The hotel staff upgraded me from 2 singles to one twin bed free of charge and I was also able to request a non smoking room. The rooms are tiny compared to most US hotels but are great for european standards, the hotel was clean, up scale, and well kept. (also note the rooms had their own toilets/ showers) The location was great with a brisk 8 minute walk with luggage to the central train station. Tivoli (the 1800's amusement park that helped inspire disneyland) as well as the downtown pedestrian street/ shops are less than 5 minutes walk. As mentioned by WillTravel, the church bells are qute loud before midnight and the fireworks at Tivoli will definitely awaken you at midnight! Would definitely stay there again. Link to comment
