Priceline Hotel: 2* Victoria Red Lion Inn And Suites

I just knew this was going to happen! :)

I had been avoiding the three star hotel specifically because of this horrible reviews on the Red Lion, so I pop in my bid (I've been bidding in Victoria for the last few weeks with no luck, even the 1* wouldn't accept my bid of $35 last week!) and boy was I suprised to see the acceptance at the end of the long wait!

Sorry to hear of your disappointment, but hopefully this improves things for the future and means that Priceline is actually listening to customer recommendations.

If you were upgraded it would show 3* next to the hotel's name... unless they've reverted back to not showing upgrades again. I'm doubtful this is the case, but hopefully we can get more insight if the user in this PRICELINE WIN replies as they recently reported a 3* win for a property that was previously rated Resort.

It's good that people can feel okay about 3* bidding now, but sorry you got this place. I think the 1* options are better than this one, based on reviews. However, you have easy access to the bus, and cab rides are cheap. Victoria is excellent so just enjoy the city!
