Heya Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Need something from April 8-11PreferEiffel Tower - Grenelle - MontparnasseOpera Quarter East - Les HallesSuggestions,Student so money is extremely tight,ThanksPS i would like to pay sub $100 but dont think this is realistic,Thanks again
WillTravel Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Why do you pick those two zones?Eiffel Tower - Grenelle - Montparnasse has some hotels that are somewhat central, but some that are very far out.Opera Quarter East - Les Halles is pretty central. Many people have succeeded with St. Germain - Latin Quarter - Montparnasse, and that seems to be the zone that generally has the lowest price 4* hotels. Did you want to exclude that zone?I think your hoped for price is not realistic, but you can try. I'd suggest booking a cancellable backup, though.
Heya Posted March 31, 2008 Author Report Posted March 31, 2008 I thought they were the best locations, easy access to tourist attractions and such.Where do you suggest? What should i start the bidding at?Thanks

Heya Posted March 31, 2008 Author Report Posted March 31, 2008 Eiffel Tower - Grenelle - MontparnasseOpera Quarter East - Les HallesSt. Germain - Latin Quarter - MontparnasseThose are the preferred zones,Ive searched but cant find any winning bids that have worked lately. Thanks
thereuare Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 And are you stlll looking for a minimum 4* rated hotel and a maximum bid of $100?With your stay just about a week away, do you have a back-up reservation anyplace? If so, where and how much? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Heya Posted April 5, 2008 Author Report Posted April 5, 2008 No backup,If i have to find something that day i will.Steven
thereuare Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 I'd highly recommend you find out your best current deal.As an example, you mind find your best deal to be $200, which leaves a LOT of margin between $100 (your current maximum bid) and $200 (what you may end up paying if you wait until the day of). If the best deal you can find is $200/nite, wouldn't it make sense to raise your maximum bid in attempt to get something at a better rate then what you'll likely be paying if you wait and just 'wing it' the day of your arrival?
