This is the former Radisson in Saddle Brook, started bidding at $66 and increased to $74 through rebids when I received a counteroffer to increase my bid by $22. HOTWIRE had a 3* for $95 with Fitness, Pool, and HS Internet amenities and I thought this might be the same hotel. I increased by bid to $78, success!

Holiday Inn Saddle Brook

Saddle Brook - Hasbrouck Heights

129 Pehle Avenue

Saddle Brook, New Jersey 07662

201-845-7800

Your Offer Price: $78.00

Subtotal: $78.00

Taxes & Service Fees: $19.68

Total Charges: $97.68

Rack rates start at $149, so this works for me. I also bid in the Fort Lee zone up to $95 at the 3* level, but was unsuccessful. Earlier in the day I saw a 3.5* for $99 on HOTWIRE in the Ft. Lee zone, thought it might be the Doubletree (former Hilton in Ft. Lee next to the GWB).

Congratulations on your win and thanks for the update to the Priceline Hotel List.

Has the property improved at all under the new brand? Although it wasn't bad, the property was a little tired looking when it was a Radisson.

I drove through this area a a week or so ago and two new things i noticed on the hotel-front... the Courtyard on Rt 17 in Paramus is making some BIG progress. For the longest time there was just a sign infront of a 'forest of trees' that the hotel was coming... there is actually an almost complete exterior structure up now.

Also, the Crowne Plaza on Fromm Rd (next to Paramus Park Mall) is putting an addition on to the exterior of the buidling, apparently expanding the restaurant/bar portion of the hotel, which will become a Bonefish Grill. Not sure if they'll get the traffic they're looking for at this location, but i found it interesting.

Speaking of food... chicken parm here tonite? :)

Enjoy your stay.

I think the only new items are the "Holiday Inn" pens at the front desk :) This hotel had a minor renovation a few years ago, new sleep number beds, carpeting, new paint. There is a restaurant on site, but I ended up driving over to Minado in Little Ferry, as buffets go, this is a bit pricey at $26, but the quality of the sushi, salads, and hot items are worth it. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but Bonefish seems to get it right on all counts. This hotel is .3 mile away from the route 144/164 bus, but the trip into Manhattan is about 50 minutes. I believe that the "Old" Holiday Inn that was built in the round is being converted into a Wyndham.
