Bowden68 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Stayed here a couple weeks ago. Its located in North Jersey so if you are going into NYC it's a great place to stay. This hotel has a "big time" feel. Lobby is awesome, and a great bar on site. Rooms are dated, but they begin a renovation later this year. Parking is free but you have to get your ticket validated. Plenty of restuarants within walking distance. A glass of wine is $8. Swordfish was greatMy only complaint was breakfast. I rarely get room service, but I was working on my laptop and decided to give it a try. Two over easy with bacon and hashbrowns was $20 and it sucked. I almost sent it back but I was pressed for time at that point.
dahammer Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Its located in North Jersey so if you are going into NYC it's a great place to stay. Its a nice hotel, and I've stayed here before, but there are much better options for travelling into Manhattan. The round trip fare is about $20 and the trip is at least one hour.
Bowden68 Posted March 24, 2008 Author Report Posted March 24, 2008 There are narually better places closer by, but the rate because much higher. For $50, I am not sure this can be beat. I usually just have business in the North Jesery area so a city trip is not usually necessary...
