CrankyOldGuy
It's important to me to not get any physical mail about hotel usage (e.g. confirmations, itineraries, receipts, usage summaries). Will Priceline meet my needs? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!I can't say for certain what their policies will be in the future, but i have never received any physical mail from them (except seeing the charge on my credit card statement). Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
WillTravel
I've never gotten anything myself in the mail, either from Priceline or the hotels I stayed at. However, hotels do ask for your address on checking in, I believe, so conceivably they could send you something by mail to whatever address you provide. That would be the case with any hotel check-in. Link to comment
gleff
It's actually amazing to me that Priceline DOESN'T do more direct marketing. Sure they send emails, which makes sense as they're an internet property, but even those aren't really personalized. And I've never seen much targeted marketing from Priceline to get folks to use the service (as opposed to sending email to current registered customers). I'd think they might market to small business owners, for instance, maybe direct mail to holders of business credit cards. And I've always wanted them to institute some sort of loyalty marketing to frequent repeat users! :) (Priceline doesn't seem to show my 2002 bids anymore when I go to my bidding history, but I had ~ 50 successful bids in 2003.) ShibuyaJon
years ago I received itinerary changes for flights via snail mail from priceline. but nothing since probably 2000 or even 1999. Link to comment
Texana
After a failed bid on Priceline, I got an e-mail 72 hours later citing since my bid had failed and the 72 hours had passed -- I could rebid. I've never gotten any physical mail. Hope this info helps. Link to comment
