Is using Pricelines for Hotels 100% electronic?

I've never gotten anything myself in the mail, either from Priceline or the hotels I stayed at.

However, hotels do ask for your address on checking in, I believe, so conceivably they could send you something by mail to whatever address you provide. That would be the case with any hotel check-in.

It's actually amazing to me that Priceline DOESN'T do more direct marketing.

Sure they send emails, which makes sense as they're an internet property, but even those aren't really personalized.

And I've never seen much targeted marketing from Priceline to get folks to use the service (as opposed to sending email to current registered customers). I'd think they might market to small business owners, for instance, maybe direct mail to holders of business credit cards.

And I've always wanted them to institute some sort of loyalty marketing to frequent repeat users! :) (Priceline doesn't seem to show my 2002 bids anymore when I go to my bidding history, but I had ~ 50 successful bids in 2003.)
