travelbug2000 Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 I'd like to book at either the Four Points Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica or the Four Points Sheraton in Culver City. I've never booked on Hotwire (but have used Priceline before). I noticed on Hotwire that you get some indicatiion as to what the hotel you'll be getting based on the description they give you. Can you please let me know what I should be looking out for when looking in the Hotwire options? We'd really like to stay only at these 2 hotels if possible. And please let me know what I should start bidding at and what zones....Dates are for April 22-25. Thank you in advance!P.S. I'm sorry, i just noticed this is in the wrong forum under LA Priceline. I don't know how to move this to the Hotwire forum. Sorry again.
Colfax Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding, travelbug2000.I searched your dates on HOTWIRE. Two hotels came up in Santa Monica-Marina del Rey and neither appears to be the Sheraton Delfina. One is rated 2* (too low for Delfina) and the other, a 3*, has an Oceanfront icon and Delfina isn't an oceanfront property. In Culver City zone Hotwire has a 3* Customer Favorite for $99. The hotel hasn't been identified yet. It could be the Four Points but might be the Culver City Radisson too.
