I want to bid on a flight from Philadelphia to Provo, Turks and Caicos. In checking various flight schedules, I notice that one airline lists a flight that leaves about 10Pm and goes to Charlotte, where the connecting flight is 10AM (the next day)! Would priceline use such a flight?

Priceline lists their maximum layover times on their site somewhere (or you could email them). By memory, I think that Priceline would not use such a flight, but Hotwire might. Hotwire wrote in an email that layovers on international flights can be up to 18 hours. But best to find out from Priceline directly.

Australia 2.5 8

Caribbean 1.5 4

South Africa 4.5 12
