I had a family emergency to get to and in my haste I neglected to use savingsbarn.com. I'm sorry!

However, I wanted to post my P/L win for others, just in case. After a quick search at CarRental.Com and using the BB link to Car Rental Comparisons, I decided my range was between $10-$15 for a compact out of SMF.

The following was accepted on the first try:

As I write this I noticed the taxes and fees. Wowie! Oh well, I faired better than my wicked step-sister. She got a compact and paid over $350 for 7 days.

To top it all off (this is the best part), when I got to the counter they told me they were out of compacts. My choices were Crown Victoria or Mustang GT (I think). I opted for the Mustang with no additional charges. Nice ride. Too bad I didn't have far to go to cruise in it.

I need to go back to SMF again next week for same famiy issues. Just placed my bid via savingsbarn.com as follows - ALL rejected
