I'm a bit new to the priceline world. Reading another post about someone wanting a hotel in West Hollywood, I followed the suggestions given there:

Select 3* West Hollywood...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90.

OK, Here's what happened for me:

3* BH-WH Bid $75 rejected

3* BH-WH, added Lawndale Bid $90 rejected

3* BH-WH Bid $95 rejected

3* BH-WH Bid $100 accepted

Accepted at the Thompson Beverly Hills. I don't know anything about the hotel, but the website looks OK. I wanted West Hollywood, and was hoping for that, per the instructions I got above. We'll see how it goes.

Right... I forgot to mention the dates of my stay:

February 15 - 17.

2 nights.

ohhh wow, we got another 3* in that zone. So much for pretty much being guaranteed the Hyatt.

This is a rebranding of the Best Western Beverly Pavilion that appears in the Hotel List as a 2*. Before Best Western it was the Radisson Beverly Hills. It's at 9360 Wilshire, a short walk from Rodeo Drive.
