pterrell Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 A new low price for the La Quinta Inn Fresno!!Interesting tidbit...the Inn has no rooms available for Saturday, according to the corporate website and Hotwire, but Priceline was offering to extend my stay (yes, "availability is not guaranteed", but it's interesting that its even being offered).I may need to stay until Monday, so I'll deal with trying to extend my stay or hopping over to another hotel on Saturday.Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00Subtotal: $120.00Taxes & Service Fees: $23.36Total Charges*: $143.36And I used the SavingsBarn.com link...

Colfax Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Congrats on the low price, pterrell. Were you able to score a fridge and microwave again?
pterrell Posted January 9, 2008 Author Report Posted January 9, 2008 Were you able to score a fridge and microwave again?Check in is tomorrow... I'll be sure to ask... But I may throw my old microwave in the back of my car, just in case. (The wife is coming and wants to stay in the room and watch HBO while I spend time on my family projects...)
pterrell Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Posted January 13, 2008 Were you able to score a fridge and microwave again?Yes!! When I checked in, I asked if one was available. The clerk said "No", then said "You've been here before, right? Okay, let me see. Okay, let me shuffle this around..." Only problem was the outlet was the one shared by the desk light, so I had to unplug them for a while to run my computer and hot water heater. Gotta pack a power strip in the car...Very interesting--the clerk said she didn't need to see my ID or bother pressing the credit card because she remembered me and knew that I wasn't going to add any extras to my bill. :) Another observation that I may post to the general discussion board--the maids don't seem to take tips. I put out $2 or $3 each morning and it either doesn't get taken or only $1 is taken. I do leave behind the money when I go...
