dahammer Posted December 20, 2007 Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 got this on my first bid in this zone, selected 2.5* and bid $52Your Offer Price $52.00 Taxes & Service Fees $15.83 Total Charges $67.83 Rack rate was $129, so I am pleased even though this is kind of a dead travel week, and many hotels are running with low occupancy levels. I began bidding at the 3* level in Newark and bid $52, and received a counteroffer to increase my bid by $14. Thought about rebidding, but didn't want to get the Hilton, Doubletree (which is now called Newark Airport Hotel, soon to be renamed Renaissance) or Marriott and shell out another $25 for parking and internet, so I started a new bid in Elizabeth.placed my bids through Savingsbarn.com Link to comment
