Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* San Diego (Downtown-Harbor Island) Sheraton Suites

I'm wondering if I should bid on Priceline for a 3* San Diego Coastal/Mission Bay on 12/15 for $60-70 or if I should go to Hotwire and get a 3*?

We are going to the SD Zoo to meet up with some friends with our 3 year old daughter, and do not want to drive back up to LA. :)

What is important to you... the least expensive price or paying a little more and having a reasonable guess as to the property you will likely received?

Hi I read through the Hotwire thread for California just booked through HOTWIRE using betterbidding, and got Shearton Suites in Downtown for $95. Since it's a suite it's perfect for us and it's in Downtown close to the zoo.
